What will your staff learn on this course?
Staff will learn how to deliver OS Secondary Form to pupils in Secondary.
OS Secondary Form comprises eight ground-breaking coaching programs that help school pupils in Secondary Form thrive mentally, emotionally, physically and academically. These programs are delivered by school staff, teachers, coaches and counsellors who are trained by our team of specialists.
What qualification will they receive?
Trained staff will receive a formal qualification from the School Wellbeing Alliance as an ‘OS Coach’ after completion of training. This training will be done with our team of specialists, who are accredited training providers of a short training course – equivalent to Level 3. This accreditation has been secured with the International Authority for Coaching and Mentoring (IAPC&M).
Formal qualification will take the form of a certificate acknowledging CPD hours and the specific year group(s) that they are trained in.
How will your staff benefit?
Given that all the programs have universal appeal and that part of the training is experiential, staff will derive a personal benefit as well. Staff will learn valuable tools and techniques to be happier, healthier and more productive. In addition to teaching these tools and techniques to pupils they can also apply them to themselves and their families.
How will your pupils benefit?
In our programs, pupils will learn tried and tested coaching tools and techniques that empower them to be their own coach and be more independent and resilient when solving problems, overcoming challenges, making decisions and accomplishing tasks. They will also be given age-appropriate information, support and tools needed to prevent, intercept and support performance, mental health and wellbeing issues early on and live happier, healthier and more productive lives.
Where does training take place?
All training sessions can be done in person if your school is based in London or neighbouring counties or via a webinar if your school is based outside these areas. To check if your school qualifies for training in person please call us before purchasing this training course.
How long will it take?
Will there be any training materials and how will these be sent to staff?
